ASSISTANT ADMINISTRATOR

JobDescription Job Title:Assistant Administrator

ReportsTo:Administrator

SupervisoryResponsibilities:Yes

PositionStatus:Exempt

Summary:

TheAssistant Administrator is responsible for assisting the Administrator inplanning, organizing, staffing, directing, coordinating, reporting, budgeting,and physical management of the facility, residents, and equipment in a mannerthat the purpose of the facility shall be established and maintained inaccordance with established policies and in in accordance with all laws,regulations, and Reliant Care Management Company. The Assistant Administratorwill work at least 40 hours per week on administrative duties.

Areasof Responsibility:

 • Assist the Administrator in planning anddeveloping the facility's daily functions.

 • Assist department directors in developingand using department policies and procedures.

 • Ensure all employees, residents, visitors,and the public follow established policies and procedures.

•Recommend ideas for the overall organizational structure.

•Conduct facility inspections to ensure established policies and procedures areimplemented.

 • All other duties as directed

•Maintains professional working relationships with all associates, vendors, etc.

•Maintains confidentiality of all proprietary and/or confidential information

•Understand and follow company policies including harassment and complianceprocedures

•Displays integrity and professionalism by adhering to Reliant Care ManagementCompany’s Code of Conduct and completes mandatory Code of Conduct and otherappropriate compliance training.

 • All other duties as directed

ExperienceRequirements:

•The Assistant Administrator must be qualified by training and experience,capable of making mature judgments, and have no physical or mental disabilitiesor personality disturbances which interferes with carrying out his/herresponsibilities.

AssistantAdministrator Qualifications:

•Must have a valid and current LNHA in the State or be Licensed Nursing HomeAdministrator career goal and eligible for Licensure with plans to sit forBoards within a year.

 • Depending on job location, temporarylicensed individuals may be considered.

•Experience in a long-term care facility.

• Apositive disposition and the ability to work well with others

. •Ability to multi-task

•Strong communication
